Pastor Daniel Habegger of Temple Baptist Church in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, grew up in a godly pastor’s home and was saved at a young age. While in high school, God gave him a desire to pursue full-time ministry. His interests in Bible, music, and theology eventually led him to attend Northland Baptist Bible College, Bob Jones University, and Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary in pursuit of training for the ministry.
He received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible in 1995, followed by a Master of Divinity in 2002. Since finishing his formal ministerial training, he has been involved in ministry at various levels, including both lay and occupational ministry capacities at Huron Baptist Church of Flat Rock, Michigan. He has also served as the pastor of Northland Baptist Church in Hannibal, Wisconsin.
Pastor Habegger is grateful for his wife, Cheryl, who assists him with his ministry in a variety of important ways. God has blessed them with two children Danelle and Aaron.
Pastor Habegger began his ministry at Temple Baptist Church on August 12, 2012, and he is eagerly anticipating seeing God’s hand at work in this ministry both now and in the future. He desires that the blessing of the Lord would truly be present among this community of believers.

We provide a qualified staffed nursery for all the services of our church.
Each Sunday Morning at 9:30 am, we offer the children of all ages classes that allow them to learn the truths of God’s Word. In addition to learning about God, children will enjoy singing, praying making crafts and learning verses.
During the Sunday morning service at Temple, we offer children (up through 6th grade) the opportunity to worship at their own age level. Children will begin the service with the adults and be dismissed following the song service.
Kids for Truth
Our children’s club meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. We have two separate groups that meet (K-6th grade and Teens). Each group has a study time in their own individual book, a game time, a snack, and a short singing time with a lesson to follow.
We also provide a training and fellowship time for our young adults on Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, one special week is set aside for the children to enjoy music, games, snacks, crafts and missionary Bible time.
Camp Chetek is a Bible camp located in Northern Wisconsin that offers children an opportunity to enjoy a week enjoying God’s creation while learning more about God and enjoying fellowship with other children. Our church offers each child interested in attending summer camp the opportunity to earn scholarship money to cover the cost of camp. We also attend other Bible Camps from time to time.
It is a goal of Temple Baptist Church to see teenagers love the Lord with all their heart. To help accomplish this goal, we provide a number of opportunities for growth and service. On Sundays we have a Sunday School class that teaches God’s Word. We also have activities that help foster Christian fellowships and bring lost teens to Christ. In addition, we provide many opportunities for our teens to be involved in ministry at our church. We also actively participate in the area-wide youth activities and host one each year.
At Temple Baptist Church, we purpose to help each adult live a godly life that is based upon the Bible.
An adult Sunday School class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. This class offers a small group setting where adults can enjoy fellowship and Bible study in a more personal setting. There is also a ladies class available.
